Toby Meet Toby! This cutie came to the shelter as a stray about 4 months ago and no one came looking for him. He is about 4 years old and 72 lbs. Like most dogs who end up in the shelter, Toby didn’t understand why he ended up here and thought this place was pretty scary. It took him a minute to trust and bond with the staff. We know there’s someone out there who will love Toby as he deserves. He will need to be the only dog in the home, but tested fine with cats here. The MEG has returned traditional sacred objects, a mask and a rattle, to the Haudenosaunee after 200 years in Switzerland. In addition to the Seneca and Tuscarora nations, the Haudenosaunee, “the people who are building the longhouse,” are comprised of the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, and Cayuga Indian Nations.
