Zogby receives Sidney O. Smith award
UTICA — Ashley Brady, government affairs chair of Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, has presented Steve Zogby, vice president of Scalzo, Zogby & Wittig, Inc. and Big I New York National Director, with the Sidney O. Smith award.
The award goes to a Big “I” member who has shown outstanding legislative involvement and advocacy on behalf of independent agents.
Over his long history with the association, Zogby has served on the Government Affairs Committee and chaired the Big I State Government Affairs Committee.
Brady said, “Through those roles Steve has developed relationships with federally elected officials and advocated before them countless issues important to the independent agency channel, our businesses, and our clients. He has also worked tirelessly for our industry on our priorities in his home state of New York and developed relationships with elected officials at the state level.”
Scalzo, Zogby & Wittig, Inc. has helped protect families and businesses in the Mohawk Valley for more than 30 years. They provide quality insurance with expert advice on personal and business risk management.
