Wrong-way trip down one-way street leads to DWI arrest, police say


NEW YORK MILLS — A Rome woman was charged with drunken driving in New York Mills after she was found driving the wrong way on a one-way street very early Saturday morning.

Village police said Sabrina Davis, 31, of Rome, was driving the wrong way on St. Stanislaus Street at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Davis was pulled over and was found to be driving drunk, authorities stated.

Davis is charged with one count of driving while intoxicated, police said.

She was released on an appearance ticket for Village Court.
