Working Solutions to offer mobile hours in Madison County

WAMPSVILLE — Those searching for a job can get help from Madison County Working Solutions. The agency will offer mobile office hours in several locations across the county to offer assistance and resources for residents in their employment search process.

At the mobile locations, Career Center staff will assist residents with career counseling; resume writing; interviewing tips; training information; funding opportunities; job search assistance; and information about job fair recruitments. High school seniors who are not planning to attend college will also have an opportunity to explore potential options after high school. In addition, Madison County youth will learn about the county’s Summer Youth Program.

White Eagle Banquet & Conference Center (job fair), 2910 Lake Moraine Road, Hamilton — Tuesday, April 26, 10 a.m. to noon;

Madison County DMV, 138 N. Court St., Wampsville — Monday, April 4, 10 to 11 a.m.; Monday, April 18, 10 to 11 a.m.; and Monday, April 25, 10 to 11 a.m.;

Sullivan Free Library, 101 Falls Blvd, Chittenango — Friday, April 1, 10 to 11:30 a.m.;

New Woodstock Library, 2106 Main St. — Monday, April 4, 10 to 11:30 a.m.;

Canastota Library, 102 W. Center St. — Thursday, April 7, 10 to 11:30 a.m.;

DeRuyter Library, 735 Utica St. — Thursday, April 21, 10 to 11:30 a.m.;

Hamilton Library, 13 Broad St. — Thursday, April 28, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

For those who are unable to attend a mobile office event, the Career Center in Wampsville is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
