TOWN OF FLOYD — Tuesday afternoon’s snowfall lead to at least one rollover accident off East Floyd Road.
Sheriff’s deputies said Bonnie L. Grogan, 56, of Holland Patent, was eastbound shortly before 4 p.m. when she lost control of her Lincoln sedan on the snow-covered roadway. Deputies said the Lincoln crossed into the oncoming lane and then went off the road when Grogan tried to correct the vehicle.
The Lincoln overturned into a ditch, authorities said. Grogan did not complain of injuries, and she was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica as a precaution, deputies stated. Grogan was also ticketed for unreasonable speed in snowy conditions and is scheduled to appear in Town Court, deputies said.
