Woman charged with parole violation, taking SUV without permission

TOWN OF BRIDGEWATER — A 33-year-old woman has been charged with a parole violation after law enforcers said she took another person’s SUV without permission Monday morning.

Sheriff’s deputies said Ashley Kiehn, 33, of Bridgewater, took a 2011 Dodge Durango from Horseshoe Drive without the owner’s permission at about 10 a.m. Monday.

Deputies said Kiehn and the SUV were located, and she was taken into custody without incident.

Kiehn is charged with one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, deputies said. She is scheduled to appear in court.

Authorities said the charge is in violation of Kiehn’s parole from state prison, and a parole warrant was issued for her as well. According to state records, Kiehn served from February to August in state prison on a charge of grand larceny.
