A 30-year-old woman has been charged with felony assault after law enforcers said she threw a knife into her boyfriend Saturday morning.
Police said Sabrina R. Davis, of 305 Ann St., was in an argument with her boyfriend at about 9 a.m. Saturday at their residence. Police said Davis threw a kitchen knife at her boyfriend and the blade stabbed him in the abdomen.
The boyfriend was treated and released from St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, authorities said.
Davis is charged with one count of second-degree assault, a class D felony, police stated. She was arraigned in court and was sent to county jail in lieu of bail. She is scheduled to appear in City Court.
