Woman accused of leaving scene of accident after bumping teen with car

A 33-year-old woman has been charged with leaving the scene after injuring a teenager with her car, according to law enforcement officials.

Police said there was a dispute in the 400 block of Gansevoort Ave. at about 1 p.m. June 15, and Crystal Keyser, of Turin Street, was trying to leave. Police said Keyser pulled out of the residence and her vehicle struck a 17-year-old boy in the leg.

Police said Keyser left the area, while the teen complained of knee pain.

Keyser was located several days later and is charged with one count of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, police stated. She was released on an appearance ticket for City Court.
