Westmoreland boys volleyball tops Cincinnatus
The Westmoreland boys volleyball team won a pair of matches in a doubleheader against Cincinnatus Tuesday in Section III league play at home.
The Bulldogs opened with a three-set sweep then won in four, dropping the first set before running off three in a row.
In the first match, Westmoreland’s Carter McGregor, Toma Schedler and Rylan Kryczkowski had three kills each.
In the second match, Schedler had four kills. McGregor had 19 aces.
Statistics for Cincinnatus were not submitted.
The wins push Westmoreland’s record to 4-11. The Bulldogs end the regular season hosting Little Falls at 6:45 tonight in the league.
Sauquoit sweeps past Little Falls
The Sauquoit Valley won all three sets against Little Falls Tuesday in Section III play.
Sauquoit’s Mason Farrell had seven kills and two aces. Nick Giuliano and Zack Murphy had seven assists each.
Sauquoit ends the regular season at 10-5.
Little Falls (6-8) plays at Westmoreland at 6:45 tonight in league play.
