MARCY — The annual Wellness Expo will be Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s Campus Center, the college announced.
The free public event, hosted by the Wellness Center and the Central New York Developmental Disabilities Services Office Employee Assistance Program, will include more than 100 exhibits with an array of topics.
Among them: holistic health, reflexology, massage, vision, dental health, gerontology services, physical fitness and training, nutrition, environmental health, substance use and abuse prevention, mental health, health insurance, and sexual health.
Exhibitors will be knowledgeable representatives of local businesses, agencies and students of undergraduate and graduate nursing degree programs, said SUNY Poly. Free health assessments and screenings will be available along with giveaways, food and drink samples, and chair massages.
Also, the SUNY Poly Student Government at Utica and the American Red Cross will co-sponsor a blood drive from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
