Weather forces rescheduling of 61st annual Rome Science Fair

The 61st annual Rome Science Fair that had been scheduled for Saturday at Rome Free Academy was postponed a week to Saturday, March 10, due to complications relating to Friday’s winter storm.

The event, for grades 7-12, will take place in the small cafeteria at RFA.

Participating students should arrive no later than
8 a.m., said Paul Phister, chair of the science fair committee and president of the Rome Academy of Sciences, which conducts the event.

The science fair includes a host of exhibitions and a judging of students’ project entries in a variety of science-related categories.
