Waterbury Memorial Presbyterian Church lists special services


ORISKANY — Waterbury Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1117 Utica St., will hold upcoming services in celebration of Palm Sunday and Easter.

Palm Sunday, March 25 at 9:55 a.m.: The worship service will include a special Lenten presentation – “The Glorious Gift.” It is a 35-minute interpretation of the Holy Week events in Jesus’ life.  There will be audience inclusive dialogue and six acoustic songs.

All faiths are invited to attend.  The sanctuary is handicapped accessible by using the driveway door. Maundy Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m.: Worship service will be held at Whitesboro Presbyterian Church, corner of Main and Elm streets.

Easter Sunday, April 1 – Community Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. at the Oriskany Battlefield Monument, Route 69.  Attendees should dress warmly and bring a chair.  There will be a breakfast following at the church. 

The Celebration of the Resurrection Worship will begin at 9:55 a.m. with Communion and special music by the choir.
