OLD FORGE — View’s Virtual Series continues with National Theatre Live’s War Horse.

View has partnered with BY Experience to offer this critically- acclaimed and international smash-hit play that was filmed live in London’s West End.

War Horse will be playing virtually from March 31 to April 6. The play is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, adapted by Nick Stafford in association with the award-winning  Handspring Puppet Company.

The show won six Tony Awards — Best Play, Best Director, Best Set, Best Lighting, Best Sound, and a special award for Handspring.
At the outbreak of World War I, Albert’s beloved horse, Joey, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. Though still not old enough to enlist, Albert embarks on a treacherous mission to find Joey and bring him home.

Now seen by more than 8 million people around the world, the powerfully moving and imaginative drama features astonishing life-size puppets by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.

Tickets are $15. For more information and on ways to access the play and other events, visit View’s website at www.viewarts.org. View is located at 3273 Route 28.
