View hosts pancake breakfast, open house


OLD FORGE — View Arts Center in Old Forge will host a free open house and pancake breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 20 fro, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free, though donations are welcome.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., pancakes will be served with real New York maple syrup made and donated by the students of the Town of Webb school. Plates, utensils and napkins will be provided courtesy of Enchanted Forest Water Safari.

During the breakfast, students will demonstrate the maple syrup production process through use of a mock maple tapping setup. There will also be a courtyard yoga session for attendees of all ages, and guests are encouraged to explore View’s grounds and galleries.

At 12:50 p.m., View will hold a drawing for the raffle of a trip to Disney. Attendees can buy raffle tickets before this time.

Proceeds are for the benefit of the Town of Webb student markerspace movement, which “helps create spaces for young people to explore, learn, design, create, and make.” For more information go online to or call 315-369-6411.
