OLD FORGE — View, the Center for Arts and Culture at 3273 Route 28, named the award winners of the Central Adirondack Art Show.

The art show is a long-standing Old Forge tradition, showcasing some of the finest artists throughout the Central Adirondack Region and beyond.

Held for the first time in 1952 in the front yard of View’s founder Miriam Kashiwa, the Central Adirondack Art Show is a testament to the significant place the arts hold within the hearts and minds of the residents and visitors of the Adirondacks. This year’s work can be seen online at www.ViewArts.org/Exhibitions.

The judge for this year’s art show was Tim Ames.

“Judging the CADK show is a daunting experience,” said Ames. “I know how tough the competition is since I have been an enthusiastic participant for many years (even won a few awards) and am aware of the outstanding quality of work represented by the members.”
