Vehicle crashes into Black River in Lewis County
A vehicle was fished out of the Black River in Lewis County after crashing off Davis Bridge Road Sunday morning, according to the Port Leyden Fire Department.

Vehicle crashes into Black River in Lewis County
PORT LEYDEN — A vehicle was fished out of the Black River in Lewis County after crashing off Davis Bridge Road Sunday morning, according to the Port Leyden Fire Department.
Fire officials said the driver of the vehicle was able to free themselves and make it to shore after their vehicle crashed into the water around 8 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle went into the Black River near the intersection with Murphy Road.
Collision Unlimited removed the vehicle from the water, with assistance from law enforcement personnel.
Fire officials said the driver was evaluated at the scene and released without serious injury. The crash remains under investigation.
