The Utica Zoo will once again offer free admission to mothers this coming Sunday, May 12 for Mothers’ Day.
The zoo will open at its regular time of 10 a.m. and close at 4:45 p.m. Regular admission rates will apply for all other members of the visiting group.
Admission is $8 for adults ages 13-61, $4.75 for kids ages 3-12, $6.75 for seniors age 62 and older and military, veterans, and college students with ID or children under the age of 2 are free.
Visitors are encouraged to visit the numerous baby animals who are living with their mothers in their exhibits, including Trans-Caspian Urial lambs, Nigerian Dwarf Goat kids, and African Crested Porcupettes.
“My two boys love the Utica Zoo so much that they treat mommy with a special Mothers’ Day trip every year. What better way to celebrate what made me a mother than sharing their passion as a family?” said Sabrina Mueller, a regular visitor to the Utica Zoo.
