Utica Zoo offers school break camps

The Utica Zoo Education Department has released its schedule of special school break camps for the remainder of the 2019 school year.

Camps are geared towards students in grades 1-4 and are a way to keep active minds at work even when school is not in session. Camps run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include animal meet-and-greets, enrichment projects, touring the zoo and crafts. Each camp session costs $30 per child or $35 per child for non-members.

Pre-registration is required for each camp session and can be done by contacting Kathleen McGill at 315-738-0472, ext. 36 or at kathleen.mcgill@uticazoo.org.
