ROME — The Utica Yeti box lacrosse team has found some early success against new team Oswego RiverHawks.

Co-captain and Rome’s Nick Kieffer, Whitesboro’s Peter Liotta and New Hartford’s Tommy Karam each added a goal. Clinton’s Blaine Stottlar and New Hartford’s Andrew Davi each added an assist.
Utica had three goalies combine for 31 saves. Pat Crosby led with 16 saves while Mario Diaz had eight and Shannon Sullivan added seven.
Oswego goal Aaron Hewson totaled 35 saves.
