Utica schools to host Fine Arts Festival


The Utica City School District is hosting their 4th Annual Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Thomas R. Proctor High School.

Festival attendees will be greeted by a carnival style display of treats, face painting, crafts and a variety of other fair themed activities.

There will be caricatures by artist Andrew Buffington and the Ziyara Zanies will be present to entertain guests.

This is a K-12 art exhibit with work representing all 13 schools in the district, a special section for senior art students, and artwork created by art teachers in the district as well. There will be musical performances by the Thomas R. Proctor High School Band Choir and Moose Ensemble.
