A 32-year-old man believed to be armed and dangerous is
wanted by Utica Police for the murder of Cleastore Jefferson on July 21, according to an announcement by the law
enforcers.

Police said they are searching for 32-year-old Justin Peak, of Utica, for the shooting last week in the 100 block of James St.

According to police, Peak may still be armed and dangerous.

Police said the weapon has not been recovered and Peak has apparently made numerous threats towards law enforcement if they try to apprehend him.

Anyone with information on Peak’s whereabouts is asked to call Utica Police at either
