Utica police probe shooting


Utica Police said patrols were dispatched to the 900 block of Sherman Place at about 8:30 p.m. for a report of a man being struck by gunfire. On arrival, police said they found the man lying on the sidewalk, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs and torso. The victim was immediately transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center and is expected to survive his injuries.
