The theme of this year’s event, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Hart’s Hill Inn, 135 Clinton St., Whitesboro, organizers added, is “When We Fight, We Win.” The dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person for adults ($10 extra for membership), youth tickets are $45 Reservations can be made for a table of eight.

The dinner will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Shyquall Allah Lewis. Honorees include: Senora Pierce, of Young Scholars LLP and the founder of Harvest on the Hill, one of Utica’s largest grassroots events serving over 3,000 children in the Cornhill neighborhood; Morris Pearson, director of education for the Outreach Center for MVCC; Craig Grant, community coordinator for the Home Ownership Center; and the Oneida County History Center.
