Utica City FC drops road contest to Baltimore
Utica City FC traveled to Baltimore for a road matchup against the Blast, falling 10-3 Saturday.
After one quarter UCFC trailed 4-0. In the second, Tim Goldman secured Utica’s first goal of the match with an assist from goalkeeper Andrew Coughlin early in the second quarter. Going into halftime the score was was 5-1 for Baltimore.
The Blast added the only goal of the third.
In the fourth, UCFC’s Gordy Gurson hit Nate Bourdeau on a free kick. Bourdeau found the far corner and got Utica City’s second goal. Then Cristhian Segura connected with Bourdeau on another free kick. He found the far corner again.
Utica City returns home on Sunday for a 2:05 p.m. start against the Blast.
