Utica Chamber of Commerce seeks nominations for Business of Year awards

UTICA — The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the Business of the Year Awards for 2022. 

Presented by Staffworks, the awards honor companies and organizations for their commitment to the Mohawk Valley region and for Greater Utica Chamber involvement. Anyone may nominate a business or organization, but only businesses that are Chamber members are eligible.

Members can be re-nominated five years after having won the award. Nominees must fill out a preliminary nomination form, after which the Chamber will provide nominees with a comprehensive nomination form. Winners will be chosen based on the answers provided. Current Board of Directors’ businesses or organizations are not eligible. 

One company or organization will win an award in each of the following categories:

  • For-Profit Business with 50 or fewer employees;
  • For-Profit Business with more than 50 employees;
  • Not-for-Profit Organization with 50 or fewer employees;
  • Not-for-Profit Organization with more than 50 employees; and
  • Catalyst Rising Business Award (one to five years in business).

The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 8 at Hart’s Hill Inn.
