NEW HARTFORD — Veterans throughout Central New York and their families are in need. The Utica Center for Development and Central New York’s Veteran’s Outreach Center will return to Sangertown Square for a textile drive. On Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Utica Center for Development will be in the parking lot outside of PiNZ collecting various textiles in any condition.
Accepted textiles: Belts, blankets, clothing, comforters, draperies, footwear, purses, sheets and towels.
The textile drive with the Utica Center for Development will help Veterans in need successfully integrate back into society.
