The undefeated Hamilton College men’s soccer team is ranked in a pair of NCAA Division III polls.

The Clinton-based Continentals, who are members of the New England Small College Athletic Conference, are ranked 19th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division III Top 25 poll and the D3soccer.com Top 25 poll.

The Continentals are 5-0-0 overall for the first time since 2005 following a 1-0 victory over Marcy-based SUNY Poly on Tuesday night. Hamilton jumped into the rankings with help from a 2-1 win at then-No. 9 Middlebury College on Sept. 17. Four of the Continentals’ five wins have happened on the road this season.

Luke Peplowski leads the offense with three goals and an assist for seven points. Pandelis Margaronis has scored three goals and Luke Ehrenfreund has a team-high three assists. Kai Haesslein and Ben Ziegler have combined for a 0.40 goals against average and .889 save percentage with three shutouts.

The roster does not include any players from the Mohawk Valley.

Hamilton is set to get visits from two nationally ranked NESCAC opponents this weekend. Tufts University (No. 10/receiving votes) visits Love Field on Saturday and Wesleyan University (No. 6/No. 9) travels to Clinton on Sunday. Both matches are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. starts.
