Turning Stone announces summer Boozy Milkshakes
VERONA — In time for the kickoff of summer, Turning Stone has announced four new over-the-top summer variations of its famous Boozy Milkshakes: S’mores, Grasshopper, Strawberry Shortcake and Carnival.
Turning Stone’s Upstate Tavern has been Upstate New York’s “Home of the Boozy Milkshake” for the last three years after earning national-recognition from leading publications such as Forbes Travel Guide.
Forbes Travel Guide ranked Turning Stone’s original class of Boozy Milkshakes as among the top six favorites in the country, stating they were “delicious photogenic treats that are certainly worth the caloric splurge.”
Developed by Turning Stone’s award-winning pastry team, the new summer adult milkshakes at Upstate Tavern pack all the flavors of the season into tasty frozen treats.
All flavors are available for $12.
The S’mores Shake: Features campfire s’mores ice cream, marshmallow vodka, Four Sons toasted coconut whiskey, graham crackers, Hershey’s pieces, and rim of mini marshmallows, all topped with whipped cream and dark chocolate curls.
The Grasshopper Shake: Features mint chocolate chip ice cream, chocolate vodka, white crème de menthe, dark chocolate drizzle, mint chocolate ganache with a rim of tiny white and dark chocolate curls, topped with whipped cream, Andes mint pieces and a small brownie bite.
The Strawberry Shortcake Shake: this shake is an all new twist on the summer classic, featuring Oregon strawberry ice cream and Devils Den strawberry jam moonshine with a rim of fresh strawberries, topped with whipped cream, a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar, a buttermilk biscuit, and a caramelized strawberry.
The Carnival Shake: Celebrating the colors and flavors of a summer festival, the shake features Maine blueberry ice cream, 1911 tropical vodka, Monin cotton candy syrup, with a rim of salted popcorn, generously topped with whipped cream, a small slice of vanilla rainbow cake, cotton candy, and carnival sprinkles.
Turning Stone will also be revealing another new limited-edition Boozy Milkshake for the Fourth of July holiday with more details to come.
Turning Stone officials said new menu creations like Upstate Tavern’s Boozy Milkshakes and the successful opening of 7 Kitchens are examples of how Turning Stone’s culinary team continues to earn the premier destination resort national recognition like Casino Player Magazine’s Best Overall Dining for 2022.
