Tuesday Night Big Band plays the Oneida County History Center
UTICA — The walls of the Oneida County History Center’s gallery will echo with the drums, trombones and saxophone performed live by the Tuesday Night Big Band at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the center, 1608 Genesee St.
The 14-piece group is known to play popular big band music of the 1930s and 40s, from bands led by Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and many others. Dancing is encouraged. Admission to the program is free, donations are encouraged.
The Oneida County History Center is a private, not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to preserving the history, heritage and culture of the Greater Mohawk Valley for present and future generations.
