VERONA — St. Peter’s Lutheran Church will hold a Trunk or Treat event in its parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church at 4897 Old Oneida Road, near the intersection with Route 365. Trunk or Treat is free and open to the public.

Children are encouraged to come in costume in order to trick-or-treat at multiple vehicles in a safe location, church officials said. Families will be able to vote on their favorite trunk. There will also be treats available inside the church. The whole event will move inside in case of bad weather.

The Verona Fire Department and local law enforcement officials will be special guests at the event, officials said.
