Trophy winners at 9th annual Inlet Classic Car Cruise and Show

INLET — On July 30, over 100 classic vehicles from all over New York took over the parking lot of Arrowhead Park for the 9th annual Inlet Classic Car Cruise and Show sponsored by the Inlet Historical Society.

The festivities included 50/50 raffles, door prizes, hot dogs, raffle prizes, and more.

Trophies were awarded to individuals in the following categories:

  • People’s Choice: Paul and Sue Wegman of Pittsford – 1965 Austin Healey.
  • Best Hot Rod: Mike Gydesen of Boonville – 1932 Ford Coupe.
  • Best G.M.: John Sarkision of Old Forge – 1970 Nova SS.
  • Best Ford: Mike and Larry Jouben of Sauquoit, 1969 Shelby Mustang.
  • Best Truck: Josh Shail of Penfield – 1969 Ford Bronco.
  • Best Mopar: Aaron Vincetette of Old Forge – 1948 Chrysler Town and Country Convertible.
  • Best Import: Joe Ross of Old Forge – 2015 Porsche.
  • Best in Show “in Memory of Karen Palmeri” was awarded to Roger Spafford of Eagle Bay – 1969 Roadrunner
  • Trophy sponsors included Bruce and Margie O’Hara; Levi Tree Service; Levi Lumber, Greg Rudd Pottery; ADK Little Cabins; Richard Lutz Building and Mechanical; Adirondack Lawnscapes; and Buzz Chew Racing.
