HERKIMER — Five people were charged during an underage drinking initiative that was conducted by State Police at Herkimer in Herkimer County on Saturday.

The following locations were found not to be in compliance with the laws dealing with the sale of alcohol to those under age 21:

• Sunoco One Dream, 6371 Route 167, Dolgeville.

As a result, Arshdeep Singh, 20, of Dolgeville, was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibitive sale of alcohol to a person under 21-years-old.

• Stewart’s, 97 N. Main St., Dolgeville. 

As a result, Christine Sherwood, 53, of Little Falls, was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibitive sale of alcohol to a person under 21-years-old.

• Ann Street Liquors, 18 N. Ann St., Little Falls. 

As a result, Joshua Blanchard, 29, of Little Falls, was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibitive sale of alcohol to a person under 21-years-old.

• Stewart’s, 22 N. Ann St., Little Falls.  

As a result, Joseph Savage, 42, of Johnstown was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibitive sale of alcohol to a person under 21-years-old.

• Sam’s Deli, 275 N. Main St., Herkimer. 

As a result, Haroun Ali, 23, of Utica, was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibitive sale of alcohol to a person under 21-years-old.

In addition, the following locations were checked and found to be in compliance:

• Sunoco, 4 N. Ann St., Little Falls  

• Nice and Easy, 279 W. Main St., Little Falls   

• FasTrac, 201 W. State St., Herkimer  

• Stewart’s, 260 Mohawk St., Herkimer  

• Cliff’s, 430 Mohawk St., Herkimer  

• FasTrac 1 W. Main St., Mohawk

• Cliff’s, 412 E. State St., Herkimer.
