UTICA — Upstate Family Health Center has announced the addition of three new nurse practitioners to its team.
Adult nurse practitioner Valerie Yager will provide adult patients with primary care services, says the center. Yager earned her master of science degree in nursing from SUNY Poly in Utica and has worked for Team Health and Masonic Care Community serving the elderly.
Family nurse practitioner Rachel Corbin graduated from SUNY Canton with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and earned master of science from SUNY Poly. Prior to working at Upstate, Rachel worked with SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. Rachel is a long-time resident of Camden. Nurse practitioner Corey Corbin is a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s College of Nursing in Utica, and received his degrees from SUNY Poly. Prior to joint the Upstate team, Corey worked in the emergency department at Oneida Healthcare.
The Upstate Family Health Center, has offices in Utica and Rome and offers primary care services to people of all ages. Upstate is always taking new patients and accepts Medicaid, managed Medicare, and most private insurances.
