Trenton man faces charges following domestic dispute

TOWN OF TRENTON — A domestic dispute on Hulser Road Sunday night has led to a felony robbery charge, according to law enforcement officials.

Sheriff’s deputies said Robert Diegnan broke a window and several chairs during a fight with a family member at a residence on Hulser Road at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

The sheriff’s deputies said that Diegnan pushed the family
member to the ground and then forcibly stole property out of one of their pockets.

Diegnan fled the home and a warrant was issued for his arrest, authorities stated.

Diegnan was later located and taken into custody, the law enforcers added.

Diegnan is charged with one count each of third-degree robbery, a class D felony, and fourth-degree mischief, a misdemeanor, authorities said. He was arraigned in court and was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in court.
