Trail Blazers split Perfect Game doubleheader with Glens Falls

BOONVILLE — The Adirondack Trail Blazers split a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League doubleheader with the Glens Falls Dragons on Wednesday night.

Adirondack won the first game 5-2 and dropped the second 10-8.

Both games were seven innings.

In the first contest, Andy Hague led the way for the Trail Blazers with three hits, including a home run and a double, three RBIs and one run scored and Zach Doss chipped in two hits and one run scored. Daniel Irisarri added a solo home run.

Andrew Matthews tossed five innings to record the win as he allowed two runs, six hits, six walks and struck out six.

In the second game, Irisarri had three hits and two runs for Adirondack, while Vincent Cimini and Peter Cosentino tallied a pair of hits each and Cosentino and Jarret Hall added a pair of RBIs apiece.

Patrick Jordan went two innings to take the loss for the Trail Blazers.

The Trail Blazers are 12-18 overall, while the Dragons are 9-22.
