Trail Blazers erupt for 13 runs in Perfect Game League victory


BOONVILLE — The Adirondack Trail Blazers pushed across 13 runs on 10 hits to defeat the Watertown Rapids, 13-10, in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game on Tuesday night.

Bradley Roberto, Jon Iadevaia, Tim Carroll and Nick Hussey all doubled for the Trail Blazers. Carroll drove in three runs, Iadevaia and Hussey had two RBIs apiece and Lucas Stalman and Matt Rubayo each drove in one run. Tom Ambrosino picked up the win, working five innings for Adirondack, giving up six runs on 10 hits while walking five and striking out three.

Josh DelSignore picked up the save, throwing the final inning, giving up two runs on two hits and issuing one walk.

Adirondack is 14-18 on the year and plays again on Thursday when the Trail Blazers host the Utica Blue Sox at 7:05.
