Trail Blazers drop PGCBL road contest to Red Wings


GENEVA — Despite out-hitting the Geneva Red Wings, the Adirondack Trail Blazers lost 3-1 on the road on Saturday night in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League contest.

The Trail Blazers finished the game with six hits while Geneva was held to four.

Bay McIntosh turned in a 2-for-3 day and drove in the Trail Blazers’ lone run of the contest with a fifth inning single that scored Bailey Collins.

Michael Delease took the loss on the mound for Adirondack. Delease tossed 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on four hits while issuing two walks and striking out four batters.

The 8-10 Trail Blazers return to action tonight as they host Albany. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05.
