Tony’s Pizza to raise funds for American Cancer Society

NEW HARTFORD/WHITESBORO — Hope is on the menu at Tony’s Pizzeria & Deli in New Hartford and Whitesboro, as both locations will be raising funds for the American Cancer Society.

On Wednesday, April 26, 10% of all sales made from both locations will be donated to the American Cancer Society as a part of the “Hope on the Menu” program. Funds raised for the society will help the organization with cancer research, advocacy and patient support, in addition to aiding their mission to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat and survive cancer.

According to owners of both Tony’s Pizzeria locations, philanthropy is at the heart of the business, as they have been supporting the American Cancer Society for over 5 years, in addition to other charities and organizations.

All orders placed on the 26th, from dine-in, takeout or delivery, will automatically have 10% allocated to the American Cancer Society, no coupons or flyers are required.

“Last year’s event raised over $1,000 for the fight against cancer,” said Robert Elinskas, senior community development manager for the American Cancer Society, “We’re thankful for the support Tony’s locations are providing and hoping we’ll be able to raise even more funds to help make a difference this year.”
