VERONA — Three-time Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling artists Pentatonix has announced the release of their fourth holiday album, “Christmas is Here,” and to compliment the launch, Pentatonix will kick-off a national Christmas Is Here Tour including a stop at Turning Stone Resort Casino, Saturday, Dec. 1.
The group’s only performance in upstate New York will be at 8 p.m. in the Turning Stone Event Center. Pentatonix will only make two tour stops in New York – at Turning Stone and New York City.
Tickets for Pentatonix’s Christmas Is Here Tour will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 28 and will be available for $39, $49, $75, $84 and $94. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Turning Stone Box Office, by calling 1-833.SHOW, or online at Ticketmaster.
The Christmas Is Here album will be released on Oct. 26 via RCA Records and features brand new Pentatonix arrangements of modern and classic seasonal favorites. Ahead of the album, Pentatonix is releasing their cover and arrangement of Danny Elfman’s “Making Christmas” from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, on Sept. 28. Special guest artists will be announced soon.
The a cappella group’s three previous holiday albums have all reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Albums Chart, No. 1 on Billboard’s Holiday Albums Chart and have charted on the Billboard 200 Chart with two of the albums reaching No. 1. Additionally, all of the albums have been certified gold, platinum or multi-platinum.
Their most recognizable holiday tracks, “Mary, Did You Know?” and “Hallelujah” were certified platinum, while the Pentatonix original, “Can’t Sleep Love,” was certified gold. The group has had two holiday specials on NBC, released their tour documentary — On My Way Home — in 2015 and appeared in the feature film, Pitch Perfect 2.
