VERONA — The Three Voices Congregation will once again be hosting their ever popular Summer Music on the Green concert on Thursday, July 25, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on the lawn of the First Presbyterian Church of Verona.

The concert will follow Stone Soup - a free community dinner that will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. A free will offering can be made to help the Verona Area Food Bank.

According to organizers, this year’s concert will feature Donna Mucks and Mike Woolheater – a duet who teamed up through jamming with the great folks of the Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association. Concert goers will be entertained with a broad range of songs including some of their original selections as well as special arrangements by country recording artists Willie Nelson and k.d. lang, and rock artists like Lynard Skinner, Green Day and the Grateful Dead. Donna is a folkie by nature, and has been called a female John Denver. Fans have commented how Mike has the blues in his blood.

For more information, call 315-264-2207. The church is located at the corner of Main Street and Rock Road.
