VILLAGE OF ILION — Three people have been charged in connection with an altercation last month at the Remington Educational Complex in Herkimer County, according to law enforcement officials.
Police said there was an altercation involving a juvenile victim at the complex on Jan. 4. Following an investigation, police said Nelson P. Johnson III, 29, of Ilion, and an 18-year-old male from Mohawk were both charged this week with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Police said the pair are both scheduled to appear in Village Court.
Police said a second juvenile, a 14-year-old male from Mohawk, was charged with making a false written statement and reckless endangerment, both misdemeanors. The teen is scheduled to appear before Family Court.
