WESTMORELAND — A Rome man is accused of stealing from a storage unit in Westmoreland, according to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies said John Grass, 32, broke into a unit at Route 233 Storage sometime before Aug. 15 and stole property within. Following an investigation, authorities said Grass was identified as the thief and he was charged on Friday.
Grass is charged with one count of third-degree burglary, a class D felony, deputies said. He is scheduled to appear in court.
