OLD FORGE  — The Pandemic Therapy Band, composed of Rick Kincaid and Terry Schwaner, will perform from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at View, Route 28, as part of its Concert in the Courtyard series.

Music will include folk, country and contemporary songs with the accompaniment of guitar, mandolin, melodica, flute, harmonica and banjo. The event is free.

Kincaid and Schwaner began playing folk songs together in Kincaid’s basement, during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Kincaid, a lifelong resident of the Barneveld and Holland Patent areas, is the original organizer of the locally well-known group, Rattlin Bog. Schwaner settled in Barneveld in 2012. Both are retired.

They regularly perform at Unity Hall Open Mics in Barneveld and are local favorites at the Park Coffeehouse in Holland Patent. Their songs span classic folk and country of the 60s and 70s, as well as contemporary music, with a few pop songs.

There will be a cash bar for beer, wine and soda. Bring your own chair.
