Tenney was successful in Congress

In the past 20 years, Oneida County has had five different representatives in Congress, Sherry Boehlert, Mike Arcuri, Richard Hanna, Claudia Tenney and now Anthony Brindisi. However, only one of those representatives has been the most successful, and it isn’t the one you think.

When Claudia Tenney was first elected in 2017, she hit the ground running, putting upstate New York on the map with President Trump by meeting with him and showcasing our wonderful region whenever possible. Tenney got to work almost immediately for veterans and our military, advocating for Rome Labs and a strong increase in defense spending in the first defense bill that Claudia would vote on.

Claudia then went on to advocate for Sherrill Manufacturing, and was able to get the group to showcase their product at the White House, while also passing bills that increase accountability in the VA and cut dangerous regulations in our financial sector. By the end of her first term, Tenney had passed a number of bills, worked directly on both the tax bill and the farm bill, and met with her constituents whenever possible. We need to make sure we send this great leader back to Congress to work alongside President Trump this year.

The problem of Tenney is not herself, but her party. You talk about her support for the military, but Trump and the Republican Party diverted hundreds of millions of dollars from military construction projects to pay for his ineffective wall on the Mexican border. He also, with Republican support, withdrew forces from Syria completely abandoning our Kurdish allies. And of course don't forget he ignored intelligence reports that Russians were offering the Taliban a bounty for killing US troops, and didn't even mention it in his recent phone call with Putin. And then there is pulling troops out of Germany without any coordination with the military or the allies, and pardoning a war criminal convicted of murder. And then there is the $1 Trillion dollar Republican tax cut that went nearly entirely to the top 1%, and of course his handling of the Corona virus response which has resulted in the US leading all other nations in the death count.

Tenney could be the best representative that ever lived, but a vote for her is a vote to perpetuate the current chaos in DC
