Tenney backs bill to block vaccination requirement for travel

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, R-22, New Hartford, is supporting the, “Let Me Travel America Act,” which would prohibit the U.S. Federal Government from mandating the COVID-19 vaccination as a prerequisite for interstate travel, transportation, or movement, according to a release.

“The Let Me Travel America Act is a commonsense bill that reiterates what’s already enshrined in our Constitution: the federal government has no legal authority to restrict an individual’s right to interstate travel. I will continue fighting against federal overreach by the Biden Administration and ensure our rights are not trampled by a power-hungry President and his enablers,” the congresswoman said in a statement.
