Teenager stabbed during fight between juveniles in Oneida
ONEIDA — A 17-year-old was hospitalized in stable but critical condition after being stabbed during a fight involving several teenagers Monday evening, according to the Oneida Police Department.
Police said several young people between the ages of 12 and 17 were involved in a dispute near North Willow Street and Ridge Road in Oneida around 5 p.m. Monday. During the dispute, police said a 16-year-old stabbed the 17-year-old.
No identities were released due to their young ages.
The 17-year-old was rushed to the St. Elizabeth campus of the Mohawk Valley Health System in stable but critical condition, police said. The 16-year-old was brought in for questioning. The investigation remains ongoing.
