HAPPENING TODAY: Teen organist plays recital concert
ROME — Dominic Fiacco will perform an organ recital concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at First Presbyterian Church, 108 West Court St.
Fiacco is an 18-year-old organist from the Trenton area, already quite accomplished with many recitals in New York City and Philadelphia, as well as locally. He is known for performing some of the most difficult music in the organ repertoire with stunning clarity, skill and depth of understanding far beyond his age.
The concert will feature the works of Vierne, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Franke and other composers, as well as the first performance of a Grand Recessional written for him by Stephen Carpenter. Admission is free.
