Tap into STEAM event benefits area nonprofits

ROME — The Project Fibonacci Foundation, Inc., GPO Federal Credit Union and Copper City Brewing Company will host Tap Into STEAM from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19 at Copper City Brewing Company.

The event will benefit local nonprofits that are participating in Mohawk Valley Gives and include Can Code Communities, Copper City Community Connection, On Point for College, Connected Community Schools, The Stanley Theatre, Central New York Community Arts Council, Inc., The Project Fibonacci Foundation, Inc., The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties and the Uptown Theatre for Creative Arts.

A $20 admission includes a limited-edition Fibonacci 1.618 pint glass, a free sample of the new Fibonacci 1.618 brew, two tickets to the benefit raffle featuring incredible prizes from local businesses, live music by Encore, light refreshments and much more. Gypsy Girl Pizza will also be onsite.
