WHITESBORO — A person in a white hoodie, a red Mickey Mouse mask and riding a bicycle is being sought for questioning following suspicious activity at the Whitestown Plaza early Wednesday morning, according to the Whitesboro Police Department.

Police said suspicious activity was reported at the Whitestown Plaza shopping area on Oriskany Boulevard around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday. Police said a suspect left the scene on a bicycle, wearing a white hoodie, blue jeans and a red and white Mickey Mouse face mask.

The bicycle, the clothing and the mask were later recovered, police said, having seemingly been abandoned by the suspect.

Anyone who may have been in the area of the Whitestown Plaza or may have seen the suspect is asked to call Whitesboro Police at 315-736-1944.
