SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s online Family Nurse Practitioner MSN (master’s of science degree in nursing) Program has been ranked eighth in the U.S. by RegisteredNursing.org, announced SUNY Poly.

The organization listed SUNY Poly in its “top ten” chart with other public and private higher education institutions throughout the country, the announcement said.

The ranking noted the SUNY Poly program “offers students a hybrid pathway to their nursing career goals…With most coursework offered online, students are able to complete their FNP (family nurse practitioner) education in a convenient and flexible manner.” The description also highlights how on-campus visits decrease as the program advances and how, significantly, the 45 credit-hour program includes 800 hours of clinical practice, SUNY Poly added.

SUNY Poly has campuses in Marcy and Albany.
